~ With each passing of the moon, Isadora could feel herself becoming more forest than flesh. She was only vaguely aware now of the funny little mumbling man. From time to time he would randomly appear out of thin air to point and nod as if to take make certain that the curse he had laid upon her was coming along to his satisfaction. Woe be unto the human hunters fool enough to cross her path at night. Seeking her head for their trophy, they would only meet their own ends. The only living things that were safe from her ire were the wee creatures of the night, who would stare on in pity? fascination? at the one that was gradually becoming one of them, the Wandering Maiden.~
